By and For the People: A Confession of the English

This paper was the final assignment for my Medieval Literature in Translation course. The project is an essay with research and drafting that spanned the majority of my semester. The essay ombines cultural and socioecomic historical research with literary analysis that resulted in an examination of the 14th and 15th century reassertion of the English Language into literary, liturgical, and legal writing. It is a doozy to read (as it was to write (!)), but I learned a lot of intersting things in the process, and I am content with the final project. You can read it here.
